I just heard today that P&G sold their European paper handkerchief portfolio. To whom? To the Swedish group SCA, already manufacturer of disposable diapers and hand kerchiefs. The reason for doing so is not so much for the interest of the plants but more for the branding of the P&G products that they hope will reinforce their own position.
